FAIS (Fellow of Association of Surgeons of India)

Association of Surgeons of India is a largest association of Indian Surgeons in the country with more than 18000+ registered member surgeons. Established in 1938 with a vision of providing a platform to all Indian surgeons to share their experiences and contribute in enhancing their surgical skills.

Dr. Khetrapal has been an active member of the association and has been contributing immensely in training and developing skills of various young surgeons in the country through this association.

FICS (Fellow of International College of Surgeons)

International College of Surgeons is composed of approximately 8,000 General Surgeons and Surgical Specialists from over 100 countries/regions. Founded in 1935 in Geneva, Switzerland. The International College of Surgeons (ICS) is a global organization dedicated to bringing together Surgeons and Surgical Specialists of all nations, races, and creeds to promote surgical excellence for the benefit of all of mankind and to foster fellowship worldwide.

Dr. Khetrapal has been instrumental in publishing various articles on this international forum which has been a great learning source for various member surgeons in international arena.

FACS (Fellowship of American College of Surgeons)

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.The American College of Surgeons is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.

Dr. Khetrapal has been advocating all the latest surgical practices as adopted by all the surgeons in America and other developed countries. Being member of ACS he has contributed towards standardization of various surgical practices and helped in increasing the standard of surgery world over.

 FIMSA (Fellowship of International Medical Science Academy)

International Medical Sciences Academy was established as a global organization in 1981 registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1861 in India. International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA) seeks to exemplify and develop the highest traditions of the Noble profession of Medicine all over the world.

Dr. Khetrapal is an active member of FIMSA. He has participated in various conferences and has contributed in various studies and activities conducted on regular basis for the advancement of medical science.

FIAGES (Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons)

The Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) is an organization of surgeons formed to promote and spread the advancement of Endoscopic Surgery throughout India and beyond. The advancement and improvements in technology has resulted in significant changes in the surgical treatment of patients.

Dr. Khetrapal has been actively participating in various training workshops conducted by FIAGES. He has taught and guided various young members of the association in understanding the complexities of Endoscopic surgeries.

Mini Fellowship – Bariatric Surgery, Mount Sinai Medical School, New York

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), formerly the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM), is an American medical school in the New York City borough of Manhattan in the state of New York. Chartered by Mount Sinai Hospital in 1963, the ISMMS is one of the foremost medical schools in the United States, ranking 20th in research according to U.S. News & World Report, 18th in NIH funding among U.S Medical Schools (2014),[3] and 3rd in NIH funding per primary investigator.

Dr. Khetrapal has achieved Mini Fellowship from the Icahn School of medicine in the field of Bariatric Surgery.
